My Viper 791 Car Alarm Won't Start
- 1). Perform a check of all the systems found in your car. Sometimes there are other problems occurring, don't assume other problems are a result of the alarm system. For example, if your car isn't starting, it could be a problem with your battery or starter.
- 2). Disable the alarm manually. Switch to valet mode while attempting to diagnose the problem. Do this by putting the key in the ignition and holding down the push key until the light on the switch stays a solid color.
- 3). Check alarm sensors. When sensors are too sensitive, there will be problems with the alarm system. Solve this issue by changing the settings of the alarm's sensors.
- 4). Disable any other devices or systems in the car. GPS devices, radar detectors and cell phones can get in the way of an alarm working properly. Disconnecting these items may very well solve the problem.
