You Cannot Build Muscle Without Choosing a Muscle Building Program

2
Each and every one of us is using the year 2008 up at a rapid pace.
Remember that New Years Eve party when you looked in the mirror of the mens room at the local pub and promised yourself this would be year of a successful weight program? Well, if you have done nothing about that promise yet then the year 2008 is slipping by at the speed of light.
Way past time to get up and do something about it.
"Get in shape".
Yea, right.
A different meaning to each individual.
You might want to attain the dizzy heights of pushing buttons on the t.
v.
remote without becoming dizzy from the exertion.
Or you may be the guy (or gal) who aspires to be the next bodybuilding champ in your category.
No matter where you are on this scale you will never get there unless you start! You have set your goal for weight gain, weight loss, biceps increase, waist decrease, get rid of the love handles or which channel you want to view right now! Next step is to choose a program suited for your goals.
No problem, search the internet.
Now there is a laughable statement.
Search the internet and find hundreds if not thousands of gurus promising the salvation of mankind through the use of their program.
So your task here is to sort out enough of the truths and hype to satisfy your needs, your goals and the balance in your checkbook.
While this may be easier said than done it is a doable task.
Hopefully you did not just ride into this world on the stupid-mobile so you should have abilities to search, research, choose and use.
Maybe just a few pointers to help you along.
Necessary components of health always include nutrition, rest and some sort of exercise.
This exercise should always include some sort of cardio-pulmonary work.
Not really a good thing to try a heavy bench press and the good old ticker gives out on you.
So the first goal of your program should be "overall" health--not just big muscles.
Now you have set your goal and realized you need overall health so you have something to look for in a program.
Time to go shopping.
Think up a few words relating to what you wish to accomplish.
Want muscles--then use "muscle", "gain muscle", "build muscle".
You get the picture.
Weight gain?--then search under "weight gain" (duh!!), "increase weight", "gain weight now".
Weight loss?--same theory--"lose weight".
"lose weight now", " lose fat".
These are your search words for your research.
Just noticed something that is totally irrelevant to this-I have never seen the search words--"gain fat".
Might just try that later today and see what pops up! Do a number of searches using different words for each one.
Take the top four or five results and weed out the websites that do not appear in all of your searches.
This will give you a good start on your final choice.
Time to weed all but one out of the herd.
Research into each of the websites a bit will do this for you easily.
Look for negatives and positives in your research.
How much experience is claimed by the "guru" you are investigating.
One would hope that the more the better but this would only hold true if this is a truthful system.
Maybe the site owner has competed in and won relevant contests.
I would not expect to find a Mr.
Universe or holder of the Strongest Man contest running a website that would be affordable for my checkbook, but who knows? Where the experience was obtained and what type it is could be important in your search.
Each of us is different so my suggestions probably would be useless to all.
Back to the research and just what you want.
Look for what you are offered for your $$$$$.
Ebooks, videos, personal contact and help? All are available through may sites and probably should be in your purchased program.
Videos are excellent for those of us who need to see something in order to understand the complete purpose.
Why hold your elbows tightly to your waist in a curl? If the video doesn't explain then maybe you should look elsewhere.
I could type all day long and bore you with more and more intricacies if desired programs.
That is your job as you know exactly what you want and the time and money you can invest.
However, common sense would indicate no five day per week.
two hours per day.
high value protein diet or high dollars program add-ons if you don't have overdraft protection in your checkbook and your job does not allow that extra twenty plus hours per week.
Again the bottom line is to decide what you want, look for it and then put it into effect.
Most online trainers can and do work with you one-on-one but you are the one in control of implementing what you choose.
Something you should use in your search is reputation.
While it is very difficult to weed out bad reps of a trainer there are a few methods you can use.
Try the Better Business Bureau.
And do not just look at the logo on the website-contact the BBB and VERIFY the membership and number of complaints or compliments.
Also look for a trainer who has a verifiable contribution record with nationally recognized organizations.
Fitness magazines are a good start.
If you (possible) future trainer states past or present work with a reputable magazine then contact them.
You will be able to verify his statements as well as being able to read some of his past work.
Verify any stated titles in the fitness field.
Look for membership in weight or bodybuilding organizations.
Nothing but research however the web is full of methods to protect your spending limits as well as your (future) biceps.
So we have: ***set a goal ***research major players in training field ***verify chosen trainer as a viable resource ***purchase the program and get excited ***GET OFF YOUR LAZY BUTT AND IMPLEMENT WHAT YOU WANT TO DO-THE YEAR 2008 IS RAPIDLY FADING INTO OBLIVION AND ONE OF THOSE YOU LEAST WANT TO BREAK A PROMISE TO IS YOURSELF
