Styrofoam Tray Frame Craft
This one-of-a-kind picture frame, submitted by the Villaluz family, was made using a styrofoam meat tray. You can cut out and trim the opening to fit any pictures you have,.
- Age Guideline: 6 Years and Up
- Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)
The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
- Styrofoam Tray
- Paint
- Items to Embellish
- Craft Glue
- Paint Brush
- Scissors
- Soda Pop Can Tab or Picture Hanger
Instructions:
Decide what picture, or pictures, you want to frame. Cut a hole, or holes, in the styrofoam frame for the photo to fit in. Set the photos aside.
Paint the styrofoam tray. Once the paint is dry, decorate it with miscellaneous craft supplies like stickers, buttons, or ribbon.
Glue the photos into the opening/openings and glue a soda poop tab or picture hanger onto the back. Once all of the glue is dry you can hang up your frame.
