How to Get YouTube Videos Onto an iPod With MoviePod
- 1). First download and convert the YouTube video using a Video Converter Program. Download and install AVC Video Converter free (see Resources).
- 2). Launch your program after it has installed and click the "YouTube" button on the top panel. Type in the "URL" address of the YouTube video you want to download and convert and click "OK."
- 3). Select "Customized MP4 Movie (*.mp4)" in the profile window. Select your video size and bit-rate settings and click "Convert." The video will be downloaded from YouTube.
- 4). Connect your iPod to the computer using the USB cable.
- 5). Download and install MoviePod (see Resources) on your computer if you do not already have it.
- 6). Click "Add Files" on the top. Locate the YouTube video you just downloaded and converted and click "Open" to load it to MoviePod.
- 7). Click the "Preferences" button and click the "Conversion" button. Adjust the quality settings and select your videos aspect ratio.
- 8). Click "Add to iTunes." MoviePod will convert the video and directly load into iTunes. When the conversion is complete, drag the video into your iPod to upload the downloaded YouTube video to your player.
