Directions for Installing Outlook
- 1). Close all open programs and insert the Microsoft Office 2010 installation disc. If the Office 2010 setup program does not load automatically, open the Start Menu, click the "Computer" icon and then double-click the icon for your computer's DVD drive.
- 2). Type the 25-character license key printed on the back of the DVD case or on the certificate included with Office 2010. Click "Continue."
- 3). Read the Microsoft license terms for your edition of Office. To continue the installation, click "I accept the terms of this agreement" and then click "Continue."
- 4). Click "Customize."
- 5). Click the box next to "Microsoft Outlook," and select "Run from My Computer." Do this for any other components of Microsoft Office you want to install as well. To avoid installing a component of Office 2010, click the box next to it and select "Not Available."
- 6). Click "Install Now" in the bottom-right corner of the window. The Office 2010 installation utility copies Microsoft Outlook and all other selected Office components to the hard drive.
- 7). Click "Close" to return to the desktop when the installation utility displays the message "Complete your Office experience." Launch Outlook from the "Microsoft Office" folder on the Start Menu.
