How to Get Lean Muscle? 2 Mistakes You Must Never Make
How to get lean muscle-that's a question most gym goers would like to know.
Why hasn't your routine worked? It's either (a) because you have no routine at all or (b) because you are doing the WRONG things.
In either scenario, here are 3 tips to help you get results by doing the OPPOSITE of everyone else: #1) Go ALL OUT for every rep If you train like most people-lethargically-- you will get the same results as everyone else.
In other words--you will fail Long distance running...
high repetition sets with light weights...
and "machine workouts" will NEVER help you get ripped.
I know that from experience This will NOT help you get lean muscle--it will actually make you get smaller and weaker and less explosive.
"Fast twitch" fibers MUST the focus How do you focus on the fast twitch fibers? by doing every repetition of every set as hard as humanly possible.
This means cutting your workouts shorter and ONLY doing them as long as you can maintain maximum velocity.
This is the SINGLE biggest determinant of your muscle gains Low intensity training is only useful for improving endurance...
great if you are a mountain climber or long distance biker...
but not if you want to become more explosive or get ripped.
#2) AVOID failure training like the plague But I thought this was the best way to improve mass! It's true that many people report positive progress with failure training-but this is FAR FROM the best method.
In fact-if you want to get lean muscle--its' one of the least effective strategies there is.
You can't maintain full intensity throughout the entire workout-which means you are NOT targeting the fast twitch muscles.
End of story.
