How to Clean Samsung Plasma Televisions
- 1). Unplug your Samsung plasma television before you begin the cleaning process.
- 2). Use either a microfiber cloth or 100 percent cotton cloth to clean your Samsung plasma television. Wood-based products, such as paper towels, and other abrasive surfaces can damage the screen.
- 3). Clean the television gently first using the dry cloth. Be especially careful when cleaning fingerprints and smudges from the screen.
- 4). Spray the cleaner you're using to clean the television screen onto the cloth, not onto the television. The only thing you should use to clean the screen is a screen cleaner. Never use another type of cleaner or one with scouring powder, soap or solvents, such as alcohol or benzene, on the screen.
- 5). Clean other areas of the television besides the screen with a microfiber cloth or 100 percent cotton cloth and plain water. Again, never apply water directly to the television. Always apply it to the cloth first.
- 6). Clean stains on the television areas besides the screen with a mixture of water and just a few drops of dishwashing solution. Apply this to the cloth first, not the television.
- 7). Plug the Samsung plasma television back in after allowing it to air dry completely.
