How to Replace Subaru Windshield Wipers
- 1). Pry the swivel cap upwards, revealing the lock nut on the top of the wiper post using a screwdriver. Mark the wiper arm and the post so that the wiper arm can be installed in the exact same position.
- 2). Remove the securing nut using a wrench. Pull the wiper arm off the stud if possible. If not, use the screwdriver to assist in prying it off.
- 3). Hold the new wiper arm up next to the old arm and transpose the alignment mark to the same position on the new arm. Spread a small amount of anti-seize compound on the wiper stud.
- 4). Align the new wiper arm with the mark on the stud so that both marks line up and push the arm down on the wiper stud. Install the securing nut and tighten. Push the concealment cap down over the nut.
