I started my journey on to positive thinking and personal development through reading everyday. I read biographies and auto-biographies of some of the most successful people in the world. I started reading these types of books because I wanted to see how these people created success in their lives.

As I began reading these books I noticed something amazing. Each successful person, no matter their field of study, utilized a certain step by step process that empowered them to first think positively then bring those positive thoughts into reality.

Develop a story and create an action plan in your head that empowers those positive thoughts into reality. Affirm - At least 20 times per day reprogram your subconscious mind with positive affirmations. My affirmation is "everyday and in everyway I am rich and Everybody loves me

In other words if you want to be a millionaire because you want a nice lifestyle that may not be enough for you to empower it to happen, but if you want to be a millionaire because you want a nice lifestyle and you plan on using your knowledge and experience to empower others to live a positive successful life as you do, you are giving your dreams enough juice to manifest.
Lastly, Put your positive action plan into action.

This plan may not happen after one day, don't get discouraged, just keep on doing it until your action plan is created. After thinking positively you will begin to realize the power you possess with in yourself to create your most extravagant dreams.

The early stages of doing affirmations are usually easy because you are driven and raring to go, but once a few days pass by, it requires more focus and control to maintain the affirmation program for the full thirty days. Try doing the following five steps to help you stay the course.

1. As I've said before, begin with only one affirmation and then after thirty days increase your daily affirmations to 2-3 depending on how comfortable you get. If you own a computer, then type the affirmations out in big font and print them.

2. Say your affirmations out loud with feeling and conviction. The more you do it, the more it will become a habit and the feelings will become real which means you are making real progress, so keep yourself aware of that.

3. Feel your affirmations deeply as you say them.

4. Randomly say your positive thinking affirmations to yourself throughout the day. Most of us don't realise just how much we live our lives on automatic, driven by computer like programs that runs in the background in windows.

5. Say your affirmations in a respectful and sacred way, but remember not to take yourself too seriously. Have fun with your reprogramming and enjoy the changes that happen to you as your positive thinking affirmations take root.
