Steve Zahn and Penelope Cruz worked together on the adventure film "Sahara" and will reteam for the movie, "Bandidas." Salma Hayek also stars in the comedy Western, which begins filming in October 2004 in Mexico.

Newcomers Joachim Roenning and Espen Sandberg are directing "Bandidas," which was written by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. Cruz and Hayek play a couple of bank robbers while Zahn will co-star as a NY cop sent to Mexico to investigate the robberies.
