How to Operate a CellSensor
- 1). Use the CellSensor to check the level of radio frequency radiation emitted by your cell phone. Set the sensitivity switch located just under the volume control on the right side of the unit to "H." Turn the device on.
- 2). Place your cell phone on a flat, nonmetallic surface such as a wooden table or your counter top.
- 3). Set the CellSensor device no closer than 4 inches from your cell phone's antenna. Position the device so the top of it lines up at a 90-degree angle to your cell phone's antenna.
- 4). Place a call from your cell phone to your home phone. Stand a foot away from the device and your cell phone so the CellSensor obtains accurate readings without interference.
- 5). Record the highest and lowest reading as the needle fluctuates. Adjust the angle and distance of the CellSensor and record the highest and lowest readings for each adjustment.
- 6). Set the sensitivity switch on the CellSensor to "N" and repeat the test. You can gain a more accurate reading number by averaging all the readings.
- 7). Use the CellSensor to check electromagnetic fields. Attach the remote probe to the device before turning it on.
- 8). Set the sensitivity switch on the CellSensor to "H" and turn it on. Hold the unit in one hand and the remote probe in the other.
- 9). Slowly sweep the probe back and forth over items in your house that may emit electromagnetic fields, such as appliances, light fixtures, wall outlets and power boxes.

Record the highest readings as well as the corresponding item. Set the sensitivity switch to "N" and record the highest readings. Average the two higher numbers for an accurate EMF reading.
