Achieve Ultimate Success by Getting on a Better Level With Your Employees

Whether you're a boss, a coach, a commanding officer, or a team captain, you're a leader.
The question is, are you a great leader?Memorable leaders are very different from those who simply fill the position.
Although you probably know many different things that will make you a memorable leader, you may want to consider what level you're on with your "team.
"Think about the boss who delegates work to the employees.
Perhaps the workload is huge and there are many different things to do and just a few employees.
Imagine that boss constantly drilling his team to get the work done - and then going to sit in his office to...
supervise.
This boss is a terrible leader.
Why? It's because he's on a bad level with his employees.
If he were on a better level, he would give a rundown of what needs to be done and then he would jump in there and get it done right along with his team.
He would get his knees dirty too, and he would be respected and appreciated by his team.
In the first situation, chances are pretty high that his team doesn't respect him and they probably don't even like him.
This is probably not the kind of leader you want to be.
In order to be truly effective as a leader, you need to be respected, and sometimes this means getting in there and doing the same things that your team does; working up some elbow grease and getting dirty! So, are there other benefits to doing this?Other than simply being the right thing to do and invoking respect from your employees or your "team," there are many other benefits.
In a company situation, this kind of behavior increases the morale of the employees, resulting in higher performance.
This higher performance increases productivity within the company and that increases profits and clients or customers.
On the flip side, being on a bad level with your employees will not make them want to work for you.
The morale will most likely be low, resulting in lower performance, profits, and customers or clients.
Just doing this one thing can go a long way toward making you more successful! Another thing this does is create huge respect for you from your team.
Great leaders are respected - not feared.
When you are respected by your team, you are followed because your team wants to follow you and this is a big difference from a team who grudgingly does what you tell them to do.
People are loyal creatures and if they respect you, they will follow you until you give them reason not to.
Wouldn't you rather have your team standing behind you 100% as opposed to waiting for a better opportunity somewhere else?Being on a better level with the people you lead is not only a good idea.
It's essential to your success and the success of all of your endeavors.
