How to Make a Kite Chart
- 1). Use the ruler and scissors to measure and cut a sheet of colored paper into an 8-inch square.
- 2). Place the square on a flat surface.
- 3). Fold the top two corners to the center of the square, and press the folds. This creates a pointed top to the chart.
- 4). Fold the bottom two corners to the center of the square, and press the folds. This results in the kite shape.
- 5). Tape the folds into place.
- 6). Turn the kite over so that the folds are face down.
- 7). Use the ruler and colored pencils to create a grid on the kite. Draw seven columns, 1/2 an inch wide each, one column for each day of the week. Make six to eight rows, 1/2 inch deep each, across the columns for each activity.
- 8). Write the specifics on the grid: days of the week and required activities or chores.
- 9). Tape a 12-inch piece of yarn onto the bottom of the kite. This is the tail of the kite chart.

Attach a sticky magnet to the back of the kite chart. Hang the chart on a refrigerator or other surface.
