    • 1). Click "Start" and then click "Run."

    • 2). Type "regedit" in the dialog box and press "Enter."

    • 3). Click the "+" sign before the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" folder on the left pane of the Registry Editor window to expand the folder.

    • 4). Click the "+" sign before the "SYSTEM" folder, then do the same for the following folders, in order: "CurrentControlSet," "Control" and "Session Manager."

    • 5). Click the "Memory Management" folder. The L2 Cache is labeled "SecondLevelDataCache" and displayed on the right pane.
