Jan 14, 2005 - Anthony Minghella ("Cold Mountain") will write, produce and direct "Breaking and Entering" for Miramax Films. Minghella and his Mirage Enterprises partner, Sydney Pollack, struck a producing deal with Miramax Films in 2004 and "Breaking and Entering" is the first project to come out of that production deal.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Breaking and Entering" follows the story of an architect and a young Muslim thief who breaks into his office.

Production on "Breaking and Entering" is scheduled to begin in April 2005.
