Exploring the Human Mind and Its Abilities

5
What is the human mind able to do? It seems as if we don't know the limits of the human mind, we only expect or suspect their limits.
It also appears there are people amongst us, let's call them human plus, which are indeed able to do things that others cannot do with their minds.
It seems the human mind can do almost whatever it sets out to do, and it can be reformatted by its owner if that individual so chooses to.
After all, it is often said that; "whatever you think, you become," and therefore, whatever you practice thinking about, your mind gets better at.
This of course shouldn't surprise anyone because any superior athlete knows that if they train and train, they'll become good at whatever they're training for.
The mind is much like a muscle, as many neurologists believe; and "if you don't use it you lose it.
" Will we ever really know how the mind works, or what it is capable of, how to reach those outer limits, or what this species is actually able to accomplish? Couple this understanding with the latest technologies and our minds will send thoughts to our computers to send as communication, or drive our cars.
Today, we already have physically challenged folks steering wheel chairs with their minds and controlling artificial limbs merely by thought.
If we can already do these things, just imagine what is possible in the future? And rest assured researchers, neurologists, and scientists are not stopping here, to them this is the starting point, and the future of the human mind will know no limits in their humble opinions.
So please think on this.
