Install the SIM Card

• 1). Insert the tip of a paper clip into the small hole on the SIM card tray located on the side or top of your iPhone. This location varies depending on the version of iPhone you have.
  
  
• 2). Pull the SIM card tray out of the iPhone and place the SIM card on the tray.
  
  
• 3). Slide the SIM card tray back into the slot carefully.
  
  

Set up the iPhone

• 1). Download, install and open iTunes on your computer. ITunes, which comes preinstalled on Macs, is required to set up your iPhone.
  
  
• 2). Connect your iPhone to your computer using the USB cable that came with it.
  
  
• 3). Select "iPhone" under the "Devices" section on the left side of the iTunes window.
  
  
• 4). Select "Automatically Sync Contacts, Calendars and Bookmarks" on the "Set Up Your iPhone" screen.
  
  
• 5). Click each of the settings panes to configure your sync settings.
  
  
• 6). Click the "Apply" button at the bottom of the screen to save your settings and sync your iPhone.
  
  
• 7). Disconnect the iPhone from the computer and USB cable once syncing is complete.
