How to Remove Stains with Coconut Oil
- 1). Mix one part coconut oil to eight parts of the dry cleaning solvent in a cup to create the dry spotter solution.
- 2). Wash the stain using a sponge saturated with the dry cleaning solvent.
- 3). Wet the stain using the dry spotter solution.
- 4). Blot the stain with the absorbent pad. Saturate the stain again with the dry spotter solution. Rinse with the dry cleaning solvent. Repeat this step until the absorbent pad no longer picks up the stain.
- 5). Using a medicine dropper, add several drops of detergent and a few drops of ammonia to the stain. Repeat until no more stain is being removed.
- 6). Rinse well with water.
- 7). Apply bleach with the second medicine dropper. Wait no more than two minutes before rinsing well with water. Repeat this step until the stain is gone.
