How to Download Songs on My iTouch From a Computer
- 1). Connect your iPod Touch to your computer by connecting the USB end of the supplied cable to a USB port on your computer and the dock connector end of the cable to the dock connector port on the bottom of your iPod Touch.
- 2). Open the iTunes software on your computer---if it doesn't open automatically when you connect your iPod Touch. When your computer and iTunes recognize that your iPod Touch is connected, it will appear in the "Device" section, which is located on the left-hand side of the iTunes interface.
- 3). Click on "Music," which is located below "Library" in the upper left-hand corner of the iTunes interface. Doing this will display all of the music in your iTunes library in the main iTunes window.
- 4). Use the scroll bar on the right-hand side of the iTunes interface to scroll through the music in your library.
- 5). Click on the song that you want to add to your iPod Touch so that it is highlighted.
- 6). Drag the song you've selected to the iPod Touch icon in the "Device" section and release your mouse button when the icon becomes highlighted to add the song to your iPod Touch.
