How to Set Goals - Proper Goal Setting In 5 REQUIRED Steps
Today I'd like to share with you another very powerful concept.
This concept will help you to achieve your goals, get exactly what you really want, and help you to create an exact vision of what your really want in your life.
This is the power of being VERY specific in your goal setting and in your affirmations.
If you're not specific in your goal setting and affirmations, and are not being extremely concrete and measurable with your goals and affirmations, you're not going to activate your brain as intensely, and you're going to be far less likely to actually achieve your goals.
The human brain loves specifics, and when you give it specific instructions, ONLY THEN will your subconscious really start to go to work to manifest that goal into reality.
Whenever you're setting a goal or creating an affirmation for yourself, use these ingredients to make sure that you have the highest likelihood of success: Make it Measurable Your goal should be one that can actually be measured.
Unless SOMEONE ELSE could CHECK THAT GOAL OFF OF A LIST when it is completed, then it is not measurable enough.
Something like "Being Happy" is not measurable.
Something like "making over $10,000.
00 every month" is.
Make it Specific Try to keep your goal as specific as possible.
Make sure that you don't get too general in your affirmations.
For example, you could say something like "I make money every day" or you could say "I sell over $1,000 worth of product every single day.
" Make it Tangible and External Make your goal ideally something that you could hold in your hands, or something that is outside of you.
"I have a 2012 model Porsche" is more powerful and likely to be achieved by your mind than, "I enjoy driving to work every day.
" Make it Reachable Make sure that your goal is one that is reachable, and one that you can actually achieve.
It should be a stretch, and should be slightly outside of your comfort zone.
It should be something you have not achieved before, but not too huge or your mind may begin to doubt.
Think big, and give your mind about a 200% growth stretch from where you already are, to where you want to be.
For example, if you made $50,000 last year, a great goal for next year would be to make $100,000 next year.
Make it Desirable Make sure that your goal moves you and gets you excited! If it doesn't get you excited, you might need to think bigger and set an even larger goal for yourself, or get more ideas for what you really want to create in your life.
What do you really want? Ponder this until you reach the point where you can be clear, specific and measurable about what "it" is.
Then, you can begin to create it.
So that's the concept.
Be specific in your goals and affirmations.
Use it, and achieve your goals, and get exactly what you want in your life and avoid not living up to your full potential.
Make sure your goals are measurable, tangible, specific, external, reachable and desirable, and you'll be on a very rapid course to manifesting the life that you truly desire to create.
