How to Clean White Formica Countertops

• 1). Wash the entire counter with a damp cloth that has been wet with soapy water. Make sure that the cloth is nonabrasive.
  
  
• 2). Laminate counter tops with sculpted and matte finishes may have areas that are difficult to clean. Gently scrub these areas in a circular motion with a nylon vegetable brush and soapy water.
  
  
• 3). Make a paste out of water and baking powder. Place the paste on any stains on the countertop.
  
  
• 4). Allow the paste to sit on the stain for several minutes, then wipe it away carefully with a damp cloth. Do not rub the paste as it is a mildly abrasive.
  
  
• 5). Dry the counter with a clean, nonabrasive cloth.
