Home Bar Games
- A dart board is a classic addition to any home bar. You can easily buy a dart board and extra darts. Be sure to hang your dart board in a place with good lighting and away from a heavy traffic flow, since it is dangerous to throw sharp objects in an area where there are multiple people frequently passing by.
- Pool, or billiards, is another traditional bar game. This game is only possible in a larger home bar, since a pool table is necessary. You also need to take into consideration the space you will need for players to stand around it and use their long cue sticks to hit the balls on the table.
- Beer pong and flip cup are two fun home bar games you can play easily. Beer pong is played by setting up six cups in a pyramid formation at each end of the table and throwing ping pong balls into them. Whenever one player throws a ball into a cup, a member of the other team must drink the beer, and the first team to drink the beer from all their cups loses the game. Flip cup is a game in which players on each team chug a small amount of beer, place their cups on the table, and try to flip them upside down without using their hands, The first player or team to accomplish this successfully wins.
- There are several bar card games that can easily be played in a home bar. Kings is the most popular drinking card game, in which each card represents an action that each player must perform, and if a player does it incorrectly, that player must drink. You can make up your own rules for each card, or follow standard kings rules.
