  The City of Sebastian, Florida, is located on Florida's Treasure Coast and is home to Pelican Island, the United State's first-ever designated wildlife area. Visitors to Sebastian will find much to see and do there. The Sebastian Area Historical Society Museum and Mel Fisher's Treasure Museum are both in Sebastian, as is the Sebastian Municipal Golf Course. Sebastian also has approximately four miles of ocean beach, while Sebastian Inlet State Park and Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge both allow hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and fishing.
