Safari Edventure Visitors Guide
Situated only a short distance from the Miami, Florida region, residents and visitors can experience everything from hands-on nature and wildlife presentations, to a myriad of other fun, educational activities at Safari Edventure. This non-profit organization primarily consists of volunteers who care for over 120 species of exotic animals while providing environmental presentations to both schools and the general public.
Things to do at Safari Edventure
There are a myriad of educational activities for all ages to enjoy at Safari Edventure. From holding an alligator, to hugging a kangaroo, visitors can get up close and personal with over 100 species of wildlife native to five different continents around the world. Guests also have the opportunity to explore several unique gardens including the enchanting sunken rain forest garden, the butterfly and hummingbird gardens, and the organic garden. Here are a just a few of the featured activities typically scheduled at Safari Edventure:
- Summer Camp - Recommended for children ages 4 and up, Safari Edventure Camps is a fun method used to teach attendees about respecting others and the world around them. Campers also experience hands-on interaction with the animals.
- School Visits - From hands-on animal presentations with exotic animals, to up-close encounters with kangaroos and wolves, schools are invited to visit with the instructors for an interactive presentation. Students typically learn about the unique and interesting qualities of the exotic wildlife cared for at Safari Edventure.
- Safari Party - If you are looking for an intriguing theme for your next party, Safari Edventure invites you to schedule a party either at their location, or they will bring a presentation to any location that you specify.
- Safari Picnic - Guests are welcome to bring picnic baskets and take pleasure in the natural scenery while enjoying lunch.
- Public Visits - Some of the wildlife that visitors can experience while exploring the acreage include Fruit Bats, Armadillos, Alligators, Porcupines, Kangaroos, Anteaters, Sloths, Lemurs, Fox, Monkeys, Emus, Timber & Arctic Wolves, Snakes, Lizards, Tortoises, and Mata Matas.
Events/Services
Here are some events and services scheduled and provided by Safari Edventure:
- Solace Health at Safari Edventure - If you or someone you are aquatinted with suffers from a psychological disorder, then you (or they) can receive animal-assisted therapeutic services at Safari Edventure.
- Bonfires - Beginning during the month of October, visitors are invited to enjoy bonfires after 5: PM.

Admission
Regular admission is $15.00. Seniors, children, and Florida residents all receive a discounted rate. Additionally, those who make group reservations—qualifying groups of 15 or more people—at least 48 hours in advance can qualify for a discount of up to 20%.

Safari Edventure observes the following visiting hours:
- Wednesday-Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Monday-Tuesday: Closed
