    • 8). Remove the check from the box next to "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives."

    • 9). Click your main hard drive letter in the "Drive [Volume Label]" box.

      Place a mark next to the "Customize size" option.

      Type a new numeric value in the "Initial size (MB)" or "Maximum size (MB)" box. You will see the current paging file number listed next to "Currently allocated."

      Click "OK" to complete the configuration and close the system properties window. This should allow you to open your programs without the virtual memory error appearing.
