you learnt that the feeling you feel when suffering low self esteem or lack of confidence are indicators telling you 'not to go there' they are guiding you away from the path you are taking and they will continue until you change direction.
You also learnt that 'Hope' will steer you down the right path.
Hope feels better than despair and by holding on to hope you will begin to see the hope you now feel become your reality.
You can further learn how to gain self confidence and raise your self esteem by acting on the hope you now feel.
Hope is a positive emotion and defined as a verb (a 'doing' word) when we hope and feel that something desired may happen.
This tells us that to bring about more hope and turn hope into reality you can 'do' something about it, or in other words, you can take an action to bring about the result you want.
What action can you take to gain self confidence? As discussed in Part 1, confidence is acquired from your experiences and the examples given to you by your parents, siblings and peers as you journey through life.
You pick up and absorb their actions through their thoughts, words and deeds and form your own interpretation and they become the writings on the walls of your mind.
To a large degree these writings determine your self confidence and self esteem.
In many ways you clone their actions and they become your own.
In all of us there is a higher self, there is a more healthier you, a more wealthier you and there is a more confident you and you can become the higher you by acting as if it is true.
You can take action by acting as if you are the healthier you.
By acting as if you are the wealthier you and by acting as if you are the more confident you.
It is there even if you don't believe it and you can always act as if it is.
You do this by 'feeling' the higher you, by feeling what it would be like if it were real.
In fact it is true but you need to feel it first before it will become your reality.
Feel what it is like by 'being' the person you want to be and act as if.
Feel the difference between those feelings and the feelings of despair.
These are good feelings and they too are indicators telling you where to go.
They are guiding down the right path and turning your new found hope into your reality.
You learn how to gain self confidence by retraining your mind and turning despair into hope, you then act 'as if' and the hope you now feel becomes your reality.
Remember 'hope' is a doing word and with hope you can do something to help yourself.
