My "Lego Star Wars" Game Won't Install in Windows XP Professional
- 1). Check the Lego Star Wars packaging to make sure it is the Windows XP installation CD and not a video game disk made for other gaming systems. This information is printed directly on the game's case.
- 2). Check the system requirements on the side of the package, then compare it with what is running on the computer. If your computer does not meet or exceed the requirements, you must upgrade the computer. Click "Start," "Control Panel" and finally "System" to view the current information on the system.
- 3). Delete unnecessary files and programs from the computer. If the computer does not have enough storage space available on the hard drive, you must make room. To determine how much available storage you have click "Start," "(My) Computer" then right-click the "C:" icon and choose "Properties."
- 4). Close other programs you have running on the system when installing Lego Star Wars. When running the other programs you may experience difficulties because the RAM on the computer is occupied, leaving little to no memory available to run the installation wizard.
