Guide Review - Hallo Berlin

Hallo Berlin is a great place to relax, have something to eat and (at least) a few beers. The big picnic tables, complete with umbrellas, despite being inside, can easily accomodate groups and the affordable food and drink are great for casual get togethers. The eight different wursts ($3-4) are served on a crusty roll with red cabbage, sauerkraut, onions and mustard. Cucumber salad ($3.50) was marinated yet crisp and the potato pancakes ($4) were flavorful and crispy, without being oily. There menu features traditional German offerings, from wiener schnitzel ($13.95) to hoyerswerdaer schnitzel (chicken cutlet) ($8.95). German beers ($3.50 - 12) come in 1/4 liter to pitcher sizes, and there are also bottled beers ($3.50+) and wine ($4).
